Find a team of friends and bring a lap top to experience a simplified version of the stock selection and valuation techniques used by TU’s Student Investment Fund. You will learn some investment basics and compete to find the best performing portfolio over three selection criteria ~ technical, valuation, and qualitative.

By the way there is prize money ~ $200 for the winning team, $100 for 2nd place, and $50 for third place.

You’ll use an excel file to select from 6 different stocks to see which portfolio combination generates the highest return. Watch out, though, you might face a bull market, but you might see a correction . . . will defense be the best offense??
